Covenant Research

Our Values

Covenant Research is a non-profit research organization grounded in historic Christian teaching and committed to presenting rigorous, sourced evidence with a constructive reading.

We believe that what is true is also beautiful, and that Christianity's measurable contributions to human flourishing are best shown, not argued. The commitments below govern every report we publish.

Editorial commitments

Grounded in historic Christian teaching

Covenant Research is grounded in the faith summarized in the Nicene Creed: one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; the Incarnation and Resurrection of Jesus Christ; the one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. This is not a narrow confessional platform but the ancient, ecumenical core that has shaped Western civilization and continues to animate communities of generosity, care, and hope around the world.

Conviction that the truth is beautiful

We hold that a clear and honest articulation of Christianity's measured contributions to human flourishing reveals its truth, beauty, and goodness. Data, honestly gathered and plainly presented, is itself a form of witness. We do not need to argue; we can show.

Evidence is descriptive and sourced

Every figure traces to a peer-reviewed study, official dataset, or named primary record. We say what the data shows and name where it comes from. We do not assert what the data does not support.

Commentary is constructive only

The values reading in each report names a measured good and the Christian teaching that helps cultivate more of it. That is all. Covenant Research never attacks any person, group, party, or ideology. It never assigns blame, never frames a finding as evidence of failure, and never draws a partisan conclusion.

No hot-button issues

Some questions generate more heat than light. Covenant Research stays where the evidence is clear and the framing is constructive, and declines to enter contested political or ideological debates where our constructive posture cannot be maintained.

A gracious, winsome posture

We write for everyone curious about what the evidence shows, not only for those who already share our convictions. The register is literate and inviting, appealing to truth, beauty, and goodness rather than to tribal loyalty. A reader who does not share our faith should find our reports honest, interesting, and worth reading.
