Covenant Research

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Covenant Research (we, us, or our) handles information when you visit covenantresearch.org and its subdomains (the Site). The Site is built to collect as little personal information as possible: you can read all of our research without providing any. This policy describes what is collected, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the Site's hosting and security infrastructure automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you request, and the date and time. This information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site, and is generally not used to identify you.

2. Information you provide

The Site does not require an account to read its research. If you contact Covenant Research by email, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. If we offer an email newsletter, we collect only the address you submit, use it only to send the newsletter, and include an unsubscribe link in every message.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function and, where applicable, to measure aggregate usage. It does not use cookies for advertising. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the Site does not require non-essential cookies for you to read its research.

4. Analytics

Covenant Research may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how the Site is used, for example which reports are read most often. Where analytics are used, they are configured to minimize the collection of personal information and are not used to build profiles of, or to identify, individual visitors.

5. How we use information

Covenant Research uses the limited information it collects to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site; to understand which research is useful; and to respond to messages you send. We do not sell personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not use it for advertising of any kind.

6. How we share information

Covenant Research shares information only with the service providers that operate the Site on its behalf, such as its hosting and, where used, analytics providers, and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Site, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of operations, subject to this policy. We do not sell personal information.

7. Data retention

Covenant Research keeps the information it collects only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, and then deletes or de-identifies it.

8. Security

Covenant Research takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information it holds. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can browse the Site without providing personal information, control cookies through your browser, and unsubscribe from any newsletter at any time. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact info@covenantresearch.org; we will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

10. International users

The Site is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you understand that the limited information described here is processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to it, the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals; Covenant Research limits tracking regardless, as described in this policy.

12. Children

The Site is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. Covenant Research does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact info@covenantresearch.org and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

Covenant Research may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and your continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.

14. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your information, may be sent to info@covenantresearch.org.
